An ant was thirsty and came to the spring to drink. Suddenly a gust of wind blew by and threw the ant buried in the water to quench his thirst headfirst. A pigeon was resting in a big tree near the spring. Finding the ant in danger, he hurriedly picked a leaf and threw it to the ant in the water. The ant was very grateful to the pigeon for saving his life, but he didn’t know how to repay him.
At that moment, a bird catcher came along the road; he saw the pigeon in the tree and immediately spread the net. He proudly thought that he was safe when the ants noticed it and climbed up and bit him hard on the hand. The bird-catcher let go of his hand in pain, and the net opened in his hand, and the pigeon hurriedly escaped from the net and flew into the sky.
